In view of the unfortunate incident of collision of two ships in the vicinity of the Mumbai harbour on the 7th Aug, 2010, container shipping services in Nhava Sheva port have been adversely affected at all the three Container Terminals.The Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust Authorities have stopped all container vessel movements to and from the port effective 7th of August evening, until further notice.As a result of the above, the following MSC services have been affected: IPAK Service MSC BARBARA 09R Awaiting at Anchorage. ISES Service SCI NEW DELHI 65R - Awaiting at Anchorage. SOUTH AFRICA Service MSC JADE 71R ETA 10th Aug 2010. Please note that in order to prevent a further build up of cargo backlog at the port, we are suspending all further export bookings for cargo loading ex Nhava Sheva till further notice.However we continue to accept bookings ex-all North India & Western India ICDs which can be routed via Mundra port.We will keep you updated on the status of the port.
