FLOATING PIER SURCHARGE – HAITI, PORT AU PRINCE

Please note there is a new temporary surcharge (charged locally at Port Au Prince).Floating Pier surcharge Quantum:$300/cntr for commercial cargo $150/cntr for aid cargo. Effective April 16, 2010 and is to be paid locally by cargo receivers. Reason - The US Army floating piers renting agreement is coming to an end. A new company has been appointed to take over the renting of same. This charge is payable to the maritime agents at time of release.
